Laziness

Why is it that some of us make conscious goals, but never do them? In my past experience my parents and others have told me to write down goals I want to accomplish in the next year. Well, the problem is that I'm too lazy to even write down goals. In our society people are getting lazier and lazier. We can't even sit down in our classrooms and not hear you or someone else moaning and groaning. The reasons might be from the advanced technology doing so much for us already. Today you can now see macines fixing macines instead of a mechanics fixing the machines. Also, people in this generation are too wound up in their instent and text messaging that they can't even call the person or talk to them face to face. What is wrong with us? Why do we conciuosly don't care what we are supose to do in the future? Most teenagers spend most of their days sitting at a computer, listening to music or watching television. Our growth today has made us brain dead and helpless until we accually have to do something or we'll lose our job and live in a card board box for the rest of our lives. Basically our generation is screwed unless we kick ourselves and write down those goals and do them.
